South East housing civils specialist Anderson doubles profit

Abstract

In the year to April 2022, revenue jumped 75% to £75m generating £5.5m pre-tax profit compared with £2.4m last year. The Chelmsford firm, which works for national and large independent house builders as well as developing some of its own sites, saw operating margin top 7%. Over the period staff numbers swelled to 186 and Anderson recently created 10 new job roles as part of its ongoing growth strategy. More senior new director roles in the construction arm of the business include Andrew Nowosad who is now commercial director and Michael Keely, production director.
