Landmarc and DIO break Defence Training Estate investment records - FMJ
Abstract
Landmarc Support Services and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) have reported a record 12 months of programme delivery on the Defence Training Estate (DTE) Last year saw a huge investment in the Ministry of Defence’s 190,000 hectare built and rural military training estate, improving facilities for training troops. A total value of £84 million was invested, which is an impressive 68 per cent increase on the previous year. The current programme will provide more than 3,900 new bed spaces and save a massive 9,100 tonnes of carbon.

Restore Records Management has landed the BBC’s commercial storage and archiving contract, with a remit to manage more than 10 million archive assets. Higher than average demand for student lets, including high-value properties that were snapped up by student tenants, saw average rental prices in England jump by 18% last month, says the digital letting platform’s monthly rental index.
This took the average cost up from £1,050 last month to a record £1,238 in July, with all regions in England posting rent rises.
The highest increase was seen in the North West, where prices rocketed by 44%, says the study....
