Virginia Phillips

Virginia grew up in Louisburg, KS, and has always considered the greater KC metro area her stomping ground. She graduated from Smith College (Northampton, MA) then came back to Kansas City to do non-profit and political work until she realized it was time for a change. She got her real estate licenses (in KS and MO)— allowing her to do all the things she loved about her previous work — networking, problem solving, strategizing and getting to know lots of different people— without the politics (mostly, haha). As a licensed real estate agent in both Kansas and MO since 2013, Virginia has experience with first-time home buyers, folks downsizing, relocations, new construction (both from the buy AND sell perspective), investors, and the gamut of situations in between, across both sides of stateline from the city-proper to the ‘burbs and beyond, including but not limited to the ins and outs of the VA loan process, rural real estate and land sales. Virginia likes to think of herself as a concierge for the real estate experience and she strongly believes that, no matter the price point, everyone can find a home with that certain special something that sets it apart. She doesn’t shy away from complicated situations and will always bring a ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’ attitude. Virginia lives in South Kansas City (Martin City area) with her husband, daughter and English Bulldog. When she isn’t working, Virginia can be found estate-sale-ing and shopping (she loves 70s vintage!), hanging out with her family, planning her next themed dinner party, or sampling the latest KC-area restaurants.
