In 2013, REMAX became a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker RMAX. When you are just starting out with REMAX, you will have a 60/40 split. As Realtors advance and become more successful, they can take home more favorable caps. After the first year, your commission is based on the previous year's performance.
While agents can keep the majority of their commissions, they must pay a monthly desk charge to operate with REMAX.Once you've reached your $23,000 commission maximum, you can switch to a 95/5 split for the remainder of the year (without a desk fee).As an agent, you may select the most profitable commission scheme for you.
