Joan Bremner

A Chicago native, Joan took the adventurous road to Houston after getting a flavor of Texas in both Dallas and Austin. Raising a family of four in Houston, Joan learned early that the right home can be the heart and hub of a family. Her drive and interest in real estate grows out of a desire to find the perfect property that is a reflection of the style and individuality of her clients. She began in real estate renovating houses and building homes in and around Houston. She knew then that she was committed to the business and soon she had her real estate and then brokerage license. Joan’s entrepreneurial spirit continued and she started a boutique brokerage company. Her fresh set of eyes on Houston neighborhoods gives her the ability to recognize the possibilities in all corners of our city. Her success was driven by her philosophy of focusing on the quality of relationships over quantity. Her reputation of honest, active, informed and accountable representation has been the core of her relationship with clients. She continues to follow these core values and is pleased to bring her success to Compass. Joan supports many causes helping improve the livability of Houston and contributing to the family business, Bike Barn. You will find her involved in the improvement of our parks and the expansion of recreational paths in the City. She has spent hours winding through the trails and parks of Houston and the surrounding areas which affords her a unique perspective on neighborhoods and maximizes her knowledge and expertise of the Bayou City. Chappell Hill serves as a second home base for the Bremner family, along with their 2 dogs, 2 horses, 1 cat and 4 cows.
