The Keefer Team began in 1985 when there was just one person, Sharon Keefer. Since then, it has grown into one of the most dynamic and successful teams in the Bay Area real estate environment. The building blocks of Sharon’s career came from relationships. It was a relationship that attracted her to the industry; a relationship that helped her expand for a team approach, bringing in her husband and daughter; and it’s the relationship with her clients that motivates her every step. Her local expertise has led to working with many of the top Silicon Valley companies as a relocation specialist.

Her husband Doug joined in 2001 as part of her desire to provide a broader range of services in particular to sellers. His 30 years of corporate management, problem solving and as we call it, his willingness to be the “heavy lifter”, allows him to take on the incredible detail and hard work it takes to bring homes to market with minimal stress to the seller. His gift of working with seniors and/or their families has endeared him to countless clients.

The third member of the team, Sharon’s daughter, Jessica Hooley joined in 2004 and became an invaluable licensed agent. She has brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm in working with all clients, especially buyers. Her excitement and ability to embrace the ever changing technology landscape has added immensely to the team’s success.
