I joke that while I am a lawyer, I try not to act like one. Cheap shots aside, my legal background means that I take my fiduciary duty very seriously.  Your trust is what I value most, and I deliver exceptional results with integrity. After graduating from Harvard with honors, I worked in New York City, then moved west to attend Stanford Law School. The eclecticism of the Bay Area drew me in. I love places that combine the historical with the experimental, where deep-rooted communities and newcomers interact and evolve together. My appreciation of the quirky comes partly from growing up in New Orleans.I got into real estate after practicing corporate law in Silicon Valley, and I’ve seen our market’s highs and lows. No matter the conditions, I am successful by putting clients first and always remaining curious. I’m curious about the market, industry best practices, and most of all, my clients’ needs.  I am privileged to work with amazing technologists, business leaders, public servants, lawyers, scholars, artists, scientists, teachers, and writers.  They are busy, smart people who want expert guidance and precise execution from an agent they can trust.  I bring a unique combination of candor, humor, strategy, and heart to this process because real estate is as much about hopes and dreams as it is about price per square foot. I’m proud that more than 90% of my business comes from repeat clients and personal referrals.When I’m not working, I enjoy reading fiction, traveling, and spending time with my wife, Samantha, and our pound puppy, Peanut.
