Ian Bass is a member of the Collective Team at Compass, an established group of individuals with over three decades of combined real estate experience in New York City. Ian is always striving to learn and continues to look for ways to grow not only as a real estate professional but as an individual as well. Ian is a New York native and currently resides in Greenwich Village. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. Prior to working in real estate, he began his career working for Optimum Sports, one of the most creative and innovative companies in the Sports Marketing industry. Here is where Ian developed and improved his ability to successfully negotiate on behalf of his clients by putting their needs first. Welcoming the opportunity to problem solve, Ian thrives when faced with challenges. Through his critical thinking and ability to work well with others, Ian manages his time well to ensure the most advantageous outcomes for each of his clients. When Ian is not focusing his attention on the NYC real estate market, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, friends, and his rescue dog Mia. He also has a passion for sports and plays in a weekly Spring and Fall Adult roller hockey league on the Upper East Side.
