Erin Laney Barr has been involved in Real Estate in some way for most of her life. Together with her Father Bill, she is part of the Laney Barr Team at Coldwell Banker.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Erin enjoyed a successful career as a real estate attorney in San Diego, California, representing large financial institutions in a variety of matters. Thereafter, upon relocating back to Salt Lake City, Erin joined the internationally recognized team at the Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah), working alongside the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (“GOED”) to attract and grow high-value companies and spur the development and expansion of local Utah businesses. During this time, Erin and her husband met and grew their love of real estate investment and property development together.

Erin’s experience in real estate law, economic development, property investment and development serve as an extraordinary value add to her clients. Her ability to review, navigate, negotiate and trouble-shoot the entire real estate transaction (and beyond) alongside her Father Bill, set them apart from other real estate teams. Erin feels privileged to partner with her clients as they embark on the one of the most profound and life-changing experiences of their lifetime—she works tirelessly to ensure they are not alone in this process.

In addition to her love of all things real estate, Erin loves spending time with her husband Shawn and their son, Jack. Erin proudly serves her community in a variety of ways, including as a board member for Voices for Utah Children, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and as a member of the Utah Women’s Forum.
