Any young professional or looking to purchase a home, Dewey should be your first call. As a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and trustworthy professional, Dewey knows how to find the home his clients have dreamt about. Dewey, an entrepreneur at heart, purchased his first home at an early age. His passion real estate grew through that process and gave him an opportunity to get his real estate agent’s license. Dewey started his business entirely through referrals—he would help a friend, who would then tell another friend, who would then tell another friend. With every relationship he makes, Dewey applies the “client life” principal. He wants every client to feel that they have a trusted and lifelong partner all their home buying needs, whether it’s their first home or their next home. Dewey says he doesn’t spend any money on marketing or advertising. Instead, he focuses his energy on “post-marketing,” making sure every client he works with feels as if they have found their real estate agent life. He is all about relationships. Using this strategy, he has slowly but surely built up his customer base, comprised mainly of millennials and young professionals. Why millennials? As a young home buyer himself, Dewey prides himself in understanding the preferences and priorities of millennial homebuyers. From a city center condo fully optimized with state-of-the-art technology a young professional, to a spacious and -layout single- home away from the busy city life a growing , Dewey is able to deliver what his clients want. Currently, Dewey’s Simply Homes team is 19 members strong, with a mix of part-time and full-time agents. Most of the agents are college-educated millennials themselves. Dewey’s fast-rising and experienced team did $45 million in sales last year and has gradually expanded into other real estate services such as commercial real estate. This dynamic team has everything from shopping centers, - homes, and restaurants to liquor stores and poultry farms! Because of his relationship-based strategy, Dewey’s team has helped many of their home-buying clients venture into the commercial real estate world as well. While Dewey is based out of Suwanee, his team is scattered throughout Metro Atlanta. From as far south as Peachtree City to as far north as Flowery Branch, Dewey and his team have you covered. Dewey is proud to serve his hometown. He and his moved to Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics when he was 10 years old. He has called Atlanta his home ever since. He graduated from Georgia State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in risk management and began his corporate career with Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina. He returned to Georgia State in 2011 to earn his master’s degree in accounting and went on to work other major corporations doing financial fraud investigation and cybersecurity. When he’s not helping his clients find their dream home, Dewey enjoys spending time doing home renovations and spend time with his wife, 4-year-old daughter, and 1-year-old son. Anyone who knows Dewey well knows that real estate is not just his job; it’s also his hobby!
