About me I have over 30 years’ experience working in various aspects of the real estate business. Having been on all sides of a transaction, I understand the critical component of providing exceptional service through every phase of a transaction – from inception to after the sale. I began my career in the busy world of commercial real estate working for both a shopping center and then an office building developer. This led to an opportunity to own and operate two successful executive suites in the mid 80’s. I started out as an independent operator and after a few years, became part of an international franchise organization. After 17 years, I sold my businesses to become a full time wife and mother; however my interest in real estate never wavered. Over the course of those years, I bought and sold over a dozen homes and commercial properties as an owner/investor. My decision to enter the field of residential real estate evolved from my life-long love of houses, decorating, and remodeling - plus a desire to again become a part of a business that helps people achieve their goals. Real estate is a relationship-based business, and I strive to create client relationships built on trust and confidence. My ultimate goal is a business built entirely upon referrals from clients who are completely satisfied with the professional and caring service they received; this is the same philosophy that built my reputation in the executive suite business. Personal BackgroundAlong with travel, real estate, architecture and design have been my passions ever since helping my dad design and build subdivisions while still in high school. In college I spent a year abroad in Germany and Austria, mastered the language and had the opportunity to explore many parts of the Continent, seeing first hand the beauty of centuries of fine design and craftsmanship. Back in California, I attended UCLA Law School and specialized in urban planning and real estate development. After passing the California State Bar, I went to work first at Bank of America and later at Union Bank in the Legal Division providing guidance to the trust, estate, probate, retirement plans and trust real estate areas of Wealth Management and Trust. I spent 30 years in this pursuit, along the way traveling extensively to all corners of the world, mainly to look at architecture, and also became a founding director and past president of Habitat for Humanity Los Angeles. I retired a few years ago and am now pursuing a career in real estate, in the Los Feliz office where I have lived since 1978. I am excited to bring my life-long interest in the area and my love of real estate to clients needing my services.
