Annual price growth in England and Wales rises to 10.2%: e.surv
Abstract
Data showed that the average price paid for a home in England and Wales in July was ยฃ370,893, up by some ยฃ2,400, or 0.6%, on the revised average price paid in June. From the start of the pandemic in March 2020 to the end of June 2022, the average house price has increased by ยฃ52,600, representing a rise of 16.7%. This contrasts with the increase in consumer price inflation of 11% over the same period.
