This insurance has bigger issues covered than home warranty while there are some overlapping characteristics with homeowners insurance. Home warranty cover typically two things: appliances and home system.
Appliances would be garbage disposal, dishwasher, washer, dryer, refrigerator. Home systems would be HVAC system, furnace, water heater, sometimes even plumbing.
