What's the difference between a home warranty and homeowner insurance?

1. the home itself
2. personal belongings
3. certain liabilities home in
Homeowner insurance as protecting you from large issues such as floods, fire, natural disasters, and if the wind blows down. This insurance has bigger issues covered than home warranty while there are some overlapping characteristics with homeowners insurance. Home warranty cover typically two things: appliances and home system.
Appliances would be garbage disposal, dishwasher, washer, dryer, refrigerator. Home systems would be HVAC system, furnace, water heater, sometimes even plumbing.
