For the cover story, Portrait of elegance, written by president Mickey Alam Khan, LPI partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue and an iconic New York landmark to create scenes celebrating just that. From its storied history to the sophisticated bar to the best breakfast in town, Mr. Alam Khan details why the Carlyle, the designer clothing courtesy of Saks and the model couple enjoying drinks at the bar and returning to the hotel from a night on the town, fit the issue's theme so well.
