Sarah Cardell named CMA interim chief executive
Cardell currently serves as the general counsel of the CMA, a role that she was appointed to in September 2013.
She heads the CMA’s legal service and policy and international directorates and has executive leadership responsibility for the establishment of the CMA’s digital markets unit.
In addition, Cardell serves as a member of the CMA’s senior executive team and is a legal advisor to the CMA’s board.

Stephen White, who has been acting as interim chief executive officer, will leave YBS to take on a new role at Santander.
The society says both appointments are subject to regulatory approval.
YBS chairman John Heaps comments: “Alasdair Lenman has 23 years of experience in finance and has worked in financial services for 15 years, most recently as our chief finance officer.”
