House prices set to rise even as buyer demand falls in May: Rics

UK Residential Market Survey finds net balance of -7% down from +8% in April. May's survey brings to an end eight consecutive positive results for new buyer enquiries. Sales expectations over the next three months are also predicted to be flat. New instructions to sell homes were also largely flat during May, with a flat picture reported. Over the next 12 months, expectations are set to fall to a net balance to -24%. New sales are expected to fall for the next six months.
