Mired in paper, Howard Weissberg sought a way out. The issues with paper processes kept piling up: duplication of effort, greater opportunity for errors, long term storage, auditing challenges, etc.
Weissberg knew technology could help - the challenge was compliance. He needed something that would still adhere to the specific reporting requirements set down by the state DOT. Leveraging a Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP) grant, Weissberg spearheaded the digital evolution of his department and introduced new e-Construction technology.
