Those born outside of the United States make up over 14% of the population in the countryβs top 50 metropolitan markets, but theyβre less likely than their native-born peers to live in houses they own, a LendingTree analysis says. Across the countryβs 50 largest markets, an average of 55.2% of the population born outside of the United States live in homes they own, but, in comparison, about 65% of the countryβs native-born population live in homes they own.
