3G Development is evaluating possible next steps for a $61.6 million, 246-apartment infill project at Third Street and Grand Boulevard, after a local incentives agency rejected a request for public assistance.
At the Park Reserve property, vacant portions of the former Trinity Lutheran Hospital have seen deterioration and regular break-ins northwest of 31st and Main streets. A Kansas City developer has come forward with a $122 million remedy, which appears to be clearing some early hurdles. It's the biggest known development to date proposed along the southern streetcar extension.
