Wates FM reappointed to four nationwide contracts - FMJ

Wates FM has renewed four nationwide contracts for the continued provision of both planned and reactive building maintenance services. These include Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains (HPP), Smart DCC, Think Money Group and West Midlands Police.

Building on its established relationships with these companies, some of which span more than eight years, Wates will undertake a full range of FM services across 100+ sites on contracts ranging from one to five years. Services will consist of both hard and soft FM solutions, including mechanical and electrical services, landscaping, pest control, plumbing, fabric, cleaning and waste and security.

With environmental consciousness behind all the works completed, Wates says it will ensure energy and carbon emission optimisation through reduced plastic and cardboard waste. Alongside this, a reduction in transport will be applied where possible, with maintenance enlisted as and when required.

Included in the contracts is a new deal with Mercedes AMG (HPP), with which Wates has been working for 14 years to provide planned and reactive maintenance on a year-on-year basis. The contract renewal has seen Wates FM appointed for a further three years with the potential for this to grow to five.

A further contract renewal will see Wates FM provide total facilities management to Smart DCC across its estate, adding to an existing four-year contract to service the business’ Manchester and Nottingham sites.

James Gregg, Managing Director, Wates FM, commented: “We position ourselves as much more than FM providers; we believe in working in partnership to provide a service that interrogates our clients’ needs and enhances their operations. Extending our work for existing clients is evidence that our service consistently goes above and beyond and shows the focus we put on how we work as well as what we do. We’re thrilled to have been contracted to not just one but four FM contracts and will provide our comprehensive service to all of these businesses.”
