Bouygues E&S named as a supplier on CCS Facilities Management Framework - FMJ
Abstract
Bouygues Energies & Services has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's new Facilities Management framework, RM6232. The framework, which lasts for four years with a potential total value of approximately £8bn, will be used by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and devolved administrations. Bouygues E&S has won a place on all its preferred framework lots: Lots 1b and 1c for Total Facilities Management and Lots 2a, and 2b for Hard Facilities Management. The new framework gives a heavier weighting to quality in its contract award criteria, rather than lowest price, emphasising the importance of social value. Simon Jacobs, Strategic Development Director at Bouygues E&S said, 'We're delighted to be named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's new Facilities Management framework. We're particularly proud to have been awarded higher scores for sustainability and social value which play a such a crucial role across our contracts at Bouygues E&S.' CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
