Kevin James Selling Divine Oceanfront Digs in Florida for $20M

“Kevin Can Wait” star Kevin James didn’t wait long to list his Delray Beach, FL, mansion for a whopping $19.95 million.

The “King of Queens” star, 57, who lords over an impressive real estate portfolio, had purchased the oceanfront home for $14 million in January 2021. Compared with the listing photos from the last time the place was on the market, very little appears to have changed—except for the price.

Built in 2020, the 11,502-square-foot coastal contemporary has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Highlights include porcelain and hardwood floors as well as coffered ceilings. The interiors spaces open to the terraces, and there are ocean and pool views from almost every room.

The main rooms include a living room with a gas fireplace, a family room, and a dining area. French doors on this floor open to the patio. The chef’s kitchen sports dual islands and flows into a windowed breakfast area.

Up one level are the guest bedroom suites and a game room with a bar.

Sliding glass doors open to the loggia overlooking the pool, and the outdoor space includes a sun deck and a fireplace.

The top floor is reserved for the sprawling primary suite, which includes balconies, a gas fireplace, a sitting room or office, two walk-in closets, and a marble bathroom.

The walled and gated home sits on a lushly landscaped half-acre. It comes with a large saltwater pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, and lounge area.

Additional amenities include a wine cellar, cabana, and elevator. There’s a separate guesthouse over the five-car garage.

In 2016, James sold a Mediterranean mansion just down the street for a reported $26.38 million. He’d picked it up for $18.5 million in 2012.

James is best known for the sitcoms “The King of Queens” and “Kevin Can Wait,” as well as the “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” movies. He also had roles in “Zookeeper” and “Hitch,” and provided his voice for the first three of the animated “Hotel Transylvania” movies.
