Arbor Forest Products has announced the launch of its annual Arbordeck Awards for 2022, celebrating the event’s milestone fifth anniversary with a special twist. 

As well as the introduction of two new categories, the company is opening the awards to a public vote for the first time in the Arbordeck Awards’ history – allowing installers and customers to have their say on winning decks. Votes will be open to the public for the Best Large Trex Deck, Best Small Trex Deck, Top Spec Trex Deck, Best Trex Design Solution, and Best Arbordeck Softwood Timber Deck categories.

Three judges are set to return to the panel this year to determine the shortlist for each category, and will select the winners of new categories Trex Brand Champion of the Year and Best Trex Newcomer, as well as the coveted Deck of the Year. The 2022 panel comprises industry experts Lee Heitzman, Trex regional sales manager at Arbor Forest Products, Phil Tremayne, general manager at the Association of Professional Landscapes, and Alan Hodkinson, Trex marketing manager at Trex UK.

Winners of each category will receive a fantastic prize package including the option to have their deck professionally photographed and a £250 Love2shop voucher, and the Deck of the Year winner will receive a money-can’t-buy trip for two to Washington, D.C. complete with a visit to Trex University in Virginia.

Commenting on the milestone return of the Arbordeck Awards, Jonathan Cooper, Trex business manager at Arbor Forest Products said: “We’re proud to be able to bring back the Arbordeck Awards for its fifth year, and have no doubt that this will be its biggest year yet. The awards have continued to grow each year in no small part thanks to the continued support of installers, and we’re delighted to give back by opening five categories to a public vote for the first time.

Entries are now open until 29^th August 2022, with the ceremony taking place at FutureScape on Tuesday 25^th November 2022.
