First ever chief people officer appointment at Arcus FM - FMJ

Arcus FM has strengthened its senior structure by announcing the appointment of Debbie Gregory as the company’s first ever Chief People Officer to join its C-suite.

The appointment is in response to the significant year-on-year growth that the business has enjoyed since its inception in 2009.

As Chief People Officer, Gregory will lead the People Team to create an overarching people strategy in support of Arcus FM’s business plan and growth ambitions.

Gregory brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise over her 25-year career in HR with broad sector experience from public, private and consultancy. Prior to joining Arcus, she held a number of leadership roles including London Underground, Metropolitan Police and Canada Life. Gregory has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) since 2002.

Commenting on her new role, Gregory said: “I believe great employee experiences result in exceptional customer experiences, so I’m thrilled to join the team here at Arcus to help us continue the journey on these achievements.”

Chris Green, Arcus’ Chief Executive Officer commented: “People have always been at the heart of our success – and attracting those people, looking after them, engaging them, providing them with learning and development opportunities and best-in-class benefits has always been central to our strategy.

“With the business now employing around 4,000 people, providing 24/7 services across the country and with a growing customer base, the time is right to make this appointment to safeguard that People Driven strategy and ensure it remains at the heart of all of our strategic decisions.”
