Highly overvalued cities in the U.S. keeps growing
Abstract
Boise, Idaho, remains the most overvalued metro area in the nation, according to a study from Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University. Buyers in Ogden, Utah, paid 64.73% over what the trend indicated, while in Las Vegas prices were 61.48% higher than the baseline. The number of metro areas where buyers are paying more than 50% over the long-term trend is growing. Nearly 90% of the U.S. housing markets had price-to-income ratios.
