Reno Tackles Major Traffic Hazard on I-80
Abstract
The Spaghetti Bowl project started in 2020 and will rebuild 12 miles of I-80 between Reno, Nevada, and California. It will take Interstate 80 from the west side of the west-side of the Interstate 80 to the south-to-southbound freeway. The interchange will be re-opened in five phases over five years. The project’s $223-million first phase is funded primarily by the state. The project is funded mainly by the State and the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County contributing $30 million. The I-Bridges.
