Kimberly Yu has been hired as AECOM’s Southern California business development leader for transportation. Yu previously served as COO at Metrolink and deputy COO at Los Angeles Metro.

Balfour Beatty has announced several promotions in California. Bryan Osborne now is vice president of operations in San Diego; Arnold Arsenault Jr. is project executive in Newport Beach; Wayne Roemhild is project executive in San Diego; and Gordon Stanley is project executive in San Diego.

Lauren Nunnally has been chief administrative officer at Swinerton. A senior vice president, she was chief talent officer. Nunnally was appointed to the Swinerton Inc. board of directors in 2021.

Scott Twele has been elected as a board director for Coffman Engineers Inc. He serves as the firm’s California regional manager and the San Diego office managing principal. Nicholai Smith and Rob Wasserman were promoted to principal in the firm’s Anchorage office. Coffman also announced six new shareholders: James Chen, Christopher Haight, Renato Molina, Nicholai Smith, Brian Walkenhauer and Rob Wasserman.

Gensler Seattle has recently hired Teaque Lenahan as strategy director and Omer Karaguzel as sustainability strategist.

Rick Millitello has been promoted to president of San Francisco-based Herrero Builders. Millitello joined Herrero in 2018 as knowledge area leader of operations.

Bedrock-Service USA Inc. has hired Greg Howell as managing director.

Kleinschmidt Associates has hired Betsy McGregor as senior scientist for the terrestrial/aquatic division. The role involves consultation and specialized aquatic and terrestrial habitat assessments for clients in Alaska and across the Pacific Northwest.

HNTB has hired Richard Leary as a senior program manager of aviation and associate vice president in the firm’s Northwest division.

SmithGroup has announced several new hires in the firm’s California region. Sachin Joshi has joined the company’s Los Angeles office as senior medical planner. Design principal Karthik Ramadurai will lead design in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Hugh Campbell has been hired as SmithGroup’s senior medical planner.

McCullough Landscape Architecture has hired Melanie Loria as the firm’s marketing and business development manager.

The PENTA Building Group has promoted Bianca Fontimayor to senior marketing coordinator, Sami Tanous to senior project manager and Praveen Kumar to project executive.

Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) has promoted Nolan Sit, Matt Bens and Francesco Mozzati to principal.

Ray Franz has been promoted to Keller’s area manager for Northern California. Franz started with Keller in 2003 and most recently worked as a preconstruction manager in Chicago.

Daniel Comorre has been hired as a senior project manager with Urban Engineers’ project management oversight department in Los Angeles.

Ware Malcomb has hired Christina Mannion as studio manager, architecture, in the firm’s San Diego (Sorrento Valley) office.
