Puerto Rico’s Most Expensive Home Is a $48M Horse Lover’s Paradise
Abstract
What began as a simple hacienda with space for a few horses has become the most expensive home in Puerto Rico. "The original owner was a horse enthusiast. He decided he wanted to have a place to have his horses and his friends over," says listing agent Gerald Kleis, with The Realty Group PR. "He started buying properties, and one thing led to another." The enormous 277-acre estate is located near Naguabo. Watch: Inside Iowa's Most Expensive Home "The house is spectacular. You see a lot of woodwork, marble, and high ceilings," Kleis says. "There are 60 stables, an indoor training area, and a building for large activities," Kleis explains. "It's definitely a 'wow' property. It's not common to see something like this, much less in Puerto Rico," Kleis says. Prospective buyers will need to provide proof of funds, according to Kleis. "It's a fun property to show, but it's not for everyone," says Kleis.
