South Florida home sales plunge as market cools
South Florida's hot housing market showed signs of cooling off as sales fell dramatically, according to the latest Florida Realtors report. There were 4,239 single-family home sales in the tri-county area during April. Transactions were down 20.8% compared to the same month a year ago. However, the median sales price continued to climb 19.8% to $575,000.
