ISO accreditation endorses Green-tech approach to quality
Abstract
Green-tech is celebrating after being awarded ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 status for the 11th year running. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are two of the ISO's most well-known quality standards, implemented by over a million organisations throughout the world. ISO 9001 is a Quality Management System which gives organisations a systematic approach for meeting customer objectives and providing consistent quality. ISO 14001 is an Environmental Management System for measuring and improving environmental impact. By achieving ISO 9001 a company is committing to continuous improvement. ISO 14001 requires Green-tech to manage their environmental impact. Green-tech's Business Development Director Mark Wood comments, "I am delighted that we have passed our audit with flying colours. We put a lot of effort into continuously maintaining and improving our quality standards and the audits are very detailed so its always great to hear we've stood up to scrutiny. There are very few companies within our industry that have this accreditation so I hope others will follow our lead. It really does give our customers and suppliers reassurance of our commitment to becoming a more sustainable organisation whilst delivering a quality service and products."
